Nam(u) Myoho Renge Kyo / Nichiren Buddhism Daimoku Videos.

Daimoku 題目 is a Japanese word that simply means "The Title" of a Buddhist Sutra, especially the sino-japanese title of the Lotus Sutra; 妙法蓮華經 {myo ho ren ge kyo}. A devotional mantra is formed by adding Namah / Namo  南無 {Nan Mu} in front of the name of a divine being or a scripture. Namo or namah means roughly the same thing as the Latin word "Ave" or "Hail!" So the Daimoku of the Lotus Sutra,  Namu Myoho Renge Kyo, can mean something "Hail Lotus Sutra!"

A more detailed exegesis of the words in the title can helps us understand the deeper meaning. Namu = I bow before, I devote myself to.  Myoho = Wondrous Dharma . Renge = the Lotus Flower.  Kyo = Sutra; a discourse. Namu Myoho Renge Kyo is a vocalization of the Wondrous Dharma to which the Buddha awoke.
